Another week on the English Tour. This weeks venue was at The Alwoodley Golf club, the golf course was in great condition and was a pleasure to play. I played very solid over the 2 days, posting two scores which didn't really reflect how I played. It was great to have my golf coach on the bag this week, I learnt a lot about how to prepare for an event and how to deal with certain situations whilst on the golf course.
I was slightly disappointed with 3rd place overall as I felt I should have won this event.
I am looking forward to my next event which is Open qualifying at Moortown Golf Club 24/06/13.
Moor Allerton golf club was this weeks venue for the English Tour. It was very nice to play golf in near perfect conditions . I was very disappointed with my 1st round, I hit the ball solid but unfortunately on 3 occasions my ball was nestled up against the bunker lip,(unplayable) then walking off with 3 double bogies. Shooting a high score of 80 on my 1st round did not reflect how I played and I knew it just wasn't my day! Taking the positives into the final round, I fired a 68 which left me in 11th place overall and winning the sweep with the best score on the day. This years season is going to plan, 5 events played with 5 top ten finishes successfully picked up money in all 5 events.More importantly gaining experience, I am confident there is a win around the corner soon!
Cant wait for my next event @ Alwoodley Golf Club On English Tour.
